Acually the weather had turned out better then he expected. Chocolate brown hair furrowed infront of parts of Sam's brown eyes. Dark skin smoothed in the sunlight, he heard the rustle of the trees a few yards back from him. Alone, again. Sighing, he looked out into the crashing waves against the deep rocks at the bottom. Bottom of the cliff. His legs dangled from the cliff's edge as he looked out onto the horizon. The wind was nice, the sun beated generously down upon his very tan skin. He glanced down at the water below him. Water would be very cooling.... || ok, so not as long as I expected ||

Gabrielle sat by her car, looking out over the ocean. She'd come out today to see Jacob, but it was apparent that he was gone and wasn't going to be home for a while. Or, at least, that's what Billy had said. So she chose an alternative and came out to the beach. She had nothing else to do that day, seeing as how it was a Saturday and school wasn't in session. I could do my homework... she laughed at the idea. Nah. I'll do that tomorrow.
"Word procrastinators unite!...Tomorrow," she said out loud, chuckling softly to herself.
Something caught in the corner of her eye, and she noticed a figure sitting on one of the cliffs. "Sam?" She raised an eyebrow and pushed up against her car, straightening herself. She decided to go say hi to the man. He was, after all, a good friend of Jacob's. She might as well make friendly with him.
She walked up the road leading to the top of the cliff, almost tripping over one of the tree roots. "Hey," she said, coming out from behind one of the bushes. "Sam, right?"

Sam turned his head around softly at the first sign of someone being behind him. Something about...waiting till tomorow? It puzzled him for a momment, then looked back. He listened to the soothing crashes of the waves. One of his special calming methods that he has yet to tell the boys... As he heard his name he c.coked his head around, inspecting the girl behind him. She obviously knew his name... he looked at her deeply as she said his name again...
"I am.... do I know you?"
His brows furrowed as he was finnaly up at his feet. He almost gave a snicker at the very diffrenceing height range, for he was very tall. He wore jeans and a fit blue shirt. He really felt no need to wear something too keep him warm. He acually wondered how she knew him.... true that he was known for makeing a 'cult' with people...but heh, they didn't know the half of it. Though he had heard some of Jacob's thoughts....

Jake walked along the beach silently. He had sensed Gabrielle in the area and had wanted to see her. Then he sensed Sam as well. He sped up. He knew that even with the markings on her neck Sam could always hurt her for being in the area without knowing who she was. "Gabrielle!" Jake slid down the dunes to leap out behind her. He could still smell his own scent on her, telling others to stay away but he wasn't sure if she knew about what Sam was.

She turned around to look at Jacob, bouncing slightly and clapping. "Jake!" Her smile reached her eyes, warm and loving as she was. "About time you showed up. I was just introducing myself to your friend Sam." She turned to Sam and smiled at him, her hazel eyes shining. "I'm Gabrielle, if you didn't get that. Howdy do!" She laughed and tilted her head to one side.

Of course Sam had heard Jacob way off, he senced the alarm in Jake's breath, he gave a sly smirk. Did he really think he would hurt a human over crossing a few boundries? He almost snickered at the momment, though his eyes drifted off to see the figure of Jacob comeing towards him. He looked to Gabrielle and gave a warming, inviting smile.
"Glad to have you here."
He didn't mind her chirrpy attitude, her presence acually lifted his mood. He looked to Jacob, his sences going wild. He almost snarled at the sent. Why did Jacob have an after sent of bloodsucker? His brows furrowed for a momment, though he lighted up for a momment greeting him,
"Hey Jake."
He spoke smoothly, but Jacob would know it would be best to be honest with him. The sent on him was very light, like a few days ago light. It would probably wear off in a few more days. The stench on a vampire was very known out. But for now, he kept his cool. || From the time that Jacob saved Gabrielle from that random vampire ||

Gabrielle smiled at Sam. "Thanks," she said, her voice honey-like. It was actually unusual for her, but she had nothing against Sam so there was no point in being mean. At school, she did't care, because she'd be away from them in a few years, anyway. But Sam was Jacob's... leader? She wasn't sure what to call Sam. "What're you doing out here by yourself?"

[*Snarls* Well, if I must... hah, jk. I love rping any time I get] Sam inspected the girl quite fairly. She had no traces of vampirism so far. No. It was phisically impossible, her skin was dark, her eyes had no correlation, she acually had a pretty sent. Deffinatly human. He was relived at the thought. His attention was more on Gabrielle, he gave a wryly smile as he looked out onto the horizon and sighed gently.
"Just...watching."
There was two ways that it could be taken. 1. Watching the horizon. 2.Watching for danger- vampires in paticular. But hopefully she would only have the chance to talk one. The first of course. He looked back down to her again, not affected by the height diffrence whatsoever.
"So Gabrelle. I'm pretty sure I haven't seen you anywere around here... Are you a new resident in La Push?"
He struck up conversation, his voice warm as he foled his arms gently, iggnoring the dreadful stentch of Jacob's odd vampire trace and his eyes just on Gabrielle, although, he could still hear.

She sat down next to Sam, knowing if Jacob wanted to join them, he would. "Sort of. I moved here a few months ago from New Orleans. Mom made me because we've been living in... um... places after Katrina. Hasn't Jacob mentioned me before? We've been dating for a few months now." She raised an eyebrow, looking back at Jake for a moment before returning her attention to Sam. Tilting her head to one side, she said, "I guess he's just been busy. You're Emily's guy, right?"

Sam's face dropped almost to serious. Ehh. Katrina- sticky subject. He darted for an escape route- the only one she had left. Relationships. He let his once dry smile turn soft again he glanced off the Jacob as he snickered slightly at the metioning of her saying that Jacob mentioned her.
"Oh- I've heard. Word spreads like wildifire in La Push. And yes- I am Emily's guy"
He grinned gently as he knew that he had exactly heard it 'spoken', Jacob would know what he was taking about... Then just saying her name made his heart melt. Emily's face immerged in his thoughts, but he let them settle glanceing off to Jacob... Ok- so he had been easdropping a bit on Jacobs thoughts, though only from time to time. Some words stung him though... a few months- what a large amout of time to release a secret eh?

Gabrielle laughed. She placed her hands behind her to lean back. "She's a nice girl." She looked out over the horizon, quiet for a little while. It was a beautiful view, one that made you just stop and admire it no matter how many times you've seen it. A lot of things around that area had that affect, she knew, but the ocean was the best. Reminded her a tad of home.
She wondered why Jacob hadn't mentioned her much. She figured he'd find a way to hide the fact that she knew what he was, but hide her completely? It just didn't seem like Jacob. "It's beautiful," she wasn't going to dwell on it, "don't you think? The ocean, I mean. It's beautiful."

Sam even wondered how she met Emily, if she had only been here a few months. Ok- so it could happen, whatever. He shifted looking back over to the sun being split by parts of the purple and pink clouds. The water glistening with an orange as it reflected so gently. He gave a soft smile, his lips pressed, thinking. He nodded, it was an amazing sight. His thoughts becomeing transfixed onto other subjects.
"Yes indeed. If you look at it the right way of course."
His eyes drifted off, then his whole head turned to Jake, seeing that he was still with them. || gasheh- no muse ||

OOC: We all know how that feels.
Jacob gave a chagrined smile and stepped closer to them. "Sorry," he said to Gabrielle. He looked at Sam. "Yeah, I thought I mentioned her. Guess it slipped my mind." He scratched the back of his head and grinned widely, hoping that no trouble would come from this.
And I figured I didn't have to tell you, Sam. Seemed like something you would have picked up on your own, without assistance. He hoped that didn't come off at all sarcastic, because it sounded like that in his head. Sarcasm could get him in a touch of trouble, he knew. I guess that's why you haven't scolded me yet.

Sam gave an amused smile. Well- he had just given up the secret. She knew. She knew. TWO humans knew. Great. He felt his jaw tighten for a second, but with excellent experience he let his anger flow from him. The old horizon trick. He looked back to Jacob softly and shrugged his shoulders. He listened to his thoughts, hearing sarcasm, he almost growled. But he quickly lifted himself on the ground, wipeing his pants for a moment. And looked to Jacob after he thought his last thought. 'Yet.' He snickered to Jacob. He would get his scolding later. He looked to Gabrielle who was still sitting.
"Well, its been nice meeting you Gabrielle. I'll see you two later."
His eyes flickered to Jacob's for a momment. He was so lucky Paul wasn't here. Be walked past Jacob, his strides fairly large because of his height. Gezze. He needed something to eat. Hmmm. Emily... her food- of course.

Gabrielle nodded and stood up, a warm smile still on her face. "It was nice meeting you, too, Sam." She looked over at Jacob with a look on her face that said "yeah, well, I'll see you later, and you're in trouble."
She patted the dirt off her jeans and looked out over the ocean again. "It's getting late. I'll see you later, Jake. Call me." She turned around and walked back down to her car.
