Every high school that she had ever been to was the same. The same cliques, the same standards and the thing that never changed was Brookelle being shunned from every social circle forged. She adjusted the slouch bag that hung effortlessly off her small shoulders, and prepared herself for the same stares, sniggers and whispers that she had grown used to at previous schools. But hey, maybe Forks High would be different.
Brookelle Renee Bones released a short, amused laugh at the thought of that.
Wanting to remain unnoticed, she gently pushed open one of the double doors that allowed entry to the small, typical school cafeteria. Surprisingly, it was near deserted. Her crystal blue eyes scanned the room at the few faces that engaged in conversation with their friends. A sigh emmited from her full, soft lips. Her slim legs carried her towards the lunch line, and she stood, staring into space waiting for her turn came.
