Rachel got out of her car after pulling along side the road near the park. It was a pretty nice day to be outside, so she had decided to make a trip to Port Angeles over the weekend. She hadn't had the chance to go there being that she had just moved to Forks not to long ago and hadn't had the time to check out different places.
She made sure she had everything in her messenger bag before she crossed the street to head toward the park. As she reached the grassy area she quickly looked around. It was beautiful to say the least. There were flowers sprouting everywhere and the park had a outstanding view of the ocean, allowing people to see the different shades of blue and green of the water.
Originally, Rachel had came to the park to get some fresh air and to finish her homework, but her senses got the best of her and she ended up pulling out her camera from her bag instead of her Trig book.
She took a seat on a bench and pulled her camera up to her face and focused on the ocean. Her camera made a 'click' sound as she took a picture. She was glad she went there and was able to get out of her house.

Yea- so maybe he didn't have much to do today. He was sure one of the boy's would be on duty in La Push. He hadn't seen a sight of one of those 'cold ones' since that one named Laurence- or whatever it was. He sat back against the bentch, you know, one of those new circular ones that went all the way around in a circle with some big flower beds in the middle? Well yeah, thats were he just happened to be sitting. The park in Port Angeles was acually pretty relaxing. He was wearing blue jeans, some old sneakers, and a faded red tang top. Casual today, he didn't feel the need to bring much attention to himself. As a click of some device came from beside him, he noticed the girl takeing a picture. Well, that shows you how much he had payed attention eh? He gave the girl a look for a momment then looked down at his wrist- damn it! He forgot his watch. He sneered for the momment, then sighed gently, looking to the girl now. He leaned over seeing that she was a couple feet away from him and spoke kindly,
"S'cuse me... do you have the time?"
He had his eyes placed on her, but he glanced to the camera. A photographer? || heh- yah yah- a lousey way to start of conversation. so what. sue me. XD ||

An extremely annoyed and irritated sigh emitted the skinny femme's slightly parted lips. She crumpled up the piece of paper that had been completely flat only five minutes before and tossed it into the trash can next to her. She crossed one leg over the other and then crossed her arms. Angry? Yes, of course. She hadn't been in a bad mood a little time ago. Now, she couldn't have been more fumed. She was almost snarling. I wouldn't have known anyone else but Vanity to get so upset over not getting a job. It wasn't a big deal, it was a crap job anyhow, which made the fact that she was so upset even more strange.
She drew in a deep breath and her expression softened considerably. She looked around the park once, gaze not stopping on anything out of the ordinary. She took one last sip of the water bottle in her hand before tossing it into the garbage also. She stood up and smoothed out her jean skirt. It was another one of those rainy days here in La Push, which was nothing out of the ordinary. She glanced upwards at the sky and sighed deeply, somewhat depressed. This place was beginning to make her irritated, which just added to the boiling anger from the lack of a real job.
She strolled over to another bench, a circular one, and sat down on the other side of an attractive man. Being the girl she was, she looked him over once, before an unusually cocky smile flickered across her pale lips. "Hi there." she said in a somewhat sweet, melodic tone, not really caring if she interrupted his conversation with the other girl. She was just in one of those moods today. God, this was destined to be fun.

All appeared to be normal, no stray rays of sunlight peeked through the clouds, no strange scents in the air, and most importantly, he wasn't thirsty. Well, that wasn't really normal, Jasper was thirsty most of the time, either that or he just craved for human blood, whether he was thirsty or not. Normally, the vampire didn't trust himself to wander around town alone, in fear that some human would be so irresistable that he couldn't help but pounce, but today he was feeling a little cocky; he and Edward went hunting just the day before and he was feeling quite satisfied, even though animal blood wasn't nearly as good as a human's, it would do.
He wasn't supposed to be here and he knew it, but today it didn't seem to matter, Alice wasn't with him so he wouldn't be putting her in any harm, directly at least, and he wasn't thirsty, so the wolves had no excuse to attack him. Except of course that he was now on their lands when he wasn't supposed to be. Oh well, if he smelled them, he'd run at the first sign, and if not, he's continue his wandering. Jasper wore a black sweater and a pair of dark jeans, comfortable yet annoying at times. As he neared a park, a swift change in the wind alerted him that there was one of the La Push werewolves nearby, but only one, and there were humans in his presence. If he appeared and showed no signs of harm, this wolf wouldn't dare let his anger go free in front of the mortals, and if he did, he would be at his own fault. A smirk played across his lips at the thought and he approached the group, appearing closer to the trees but still clearly visible. He listened as they spoke, but didn't speak himself. Jasper was interested in the wolf's reactions, surely he would have noticed him by now.

Rachel was about to take another picture when she heard a voice come from either behind her or the side of her. She pulled her camera away from her face and looked over the the side and saw a man who she hadn't notice... Probably because she was to busy on focusing on getting some good photos.
She looked at the man for a brief moment and nodded her head. "Yeah... I have the time somewhere around here..." She told him as she looked into her bag for her cell phone. "Um, just give me a second. I'll find it." She was slightly disorganized but luckily she remembered she had placed her phone into her pocket. She stopped searching in her bag and stood up. Still holding onto her camera with one hand, she reached into her jeans pocket with the other and was able to pull out her phone. "It is... 2:36." She declared as she looked down at her phone. She gave a small smile as she placed it back in her pocket and sat down once again.
As she was about to pull her camera back up to her face once again, but she stopped when she heard another voice. Rachel tilted her head slightly and spotted the other girl. She was surprised... She truthfully thought she was the only one who was at the park, but obviously she was to busy paying attention to other things to notice the man and the girl. Rachel stayed quite as her shyness coming into play being that she still didn't know many people quite yet. She bite on her bottom lip out of habit as she looked around the park looking for something else to take a picture of.

|| Hm. Hey- Jasper, I thought that Port Angeles was like a free base for all.... Am I wrong? || Great- another girl. Just another reason for him to be unfaithful to Emily. Though in his eyes, nothing was probably more beautiful then his 'almost' wife. When the girl scrambled around for her phone, or clock, he sat back, giving her some room. Though at the same momment, the other girl, who by the way had a very appealing sent, just sat next to him. When the girl read aloud the time, he nodded his head,
"Thanks."
And just after that, he heared the sweet voice of the lady beside him. On the other side of course. He turned his head, he first noticed her radiant blond hair, pretty. He was absolutely positive that she was talking to him, her face beaming flawless. Woah, non-human like. Although his sents told him otherwize, her heartbeat choked off the accusation.
"Hey."
He would have said more, but, there just appeared another delema to his day. Vampire. He was rarely caught useing the "v"-word, though it was the most common wording that people used today. Btu for the most part, people didn't use that word. People didn't know. People shouldn't know. But Sam knew. He could smell that bloodsucker all the way from over here! He had heared that vampires disliked the smell of werewolves too, but, Sam acually perfered the smell over tainted animal blood. He glanced over at the vampire for a split second, Cullen. Although, being a werewolf over the many years, Sam knew their intentions. This one seemed not to have any interest in any of the two girls beside him, although, it seemed more directed at himself. Of course Sam had the most control over hismelf then the rest of the family, he wouldn't dare let a valued secret go over nothing. He looked back to the girl, his thoughts weary, but he decided it might not be a big deal. He was unsure if he would regret this.

Vanity smiled warmly at the other girl, revealing her well-taken-care-of dentals. She was angry no more. At least she was actually talking to someone. Usually, considering she had no idea who people were around here, she was always relatively quiet. She didn't talk much anymore. Today was a new day, a new minute, that angry mood had gone. She was interested in -maybe- meeting someone new. She was just curious like that. Her gaze quickly moved back to the attractive, masculine figure next to her and she tilted her head to the side, flirty smile playing across her lips. She definitely had a relish for a new friend now, even if she had to flirt her way to the top. "I'm Vanity," she introduced herself in a soft and melodic tone, eyelashes batting.
She moved her gaze from the male to the pretty female and smiled. "Hi." she said, to the girl this time, not paying any attention when Sam's gaze turned to another object in the distance. She crossed one dainty leg over the other and rested her hands in her lap, leaning a little closer to the male. She straightened her head, but frowned when the male looked back to her. She had noticed that. His gaze was unreadable, something she didn't encounter often. "Is something wrong?" she asked, brows furrowing. Of course she didn't know anything about the feud and treaty going on between the werewolves and vampires. Hell, she thought that Forks was a normal town. She thought that La Push and Port Angeles were normal towns with normal people! She couldn't have been more wrong, but she didn't sense this.
She looked behind her, just to see nothing. Her lips pursed momentarily before she softened, exhaling a loud sigh. This wasn't her normal mood. Being relatively flirty was her nature, but this was just over the top. Being shut off from the 'real world' for a few weeks must've messed up her mind. She was usually just fun and happy. Now, it was all just a false face. It wasn't like her, but she really didn't care. She needed to talk to someone, and here were two people who were alone. It was like it was destined to be. This way would have to do, even if the truth was poking at her.
-meh, this was a weird post. lool

When their eyes met, an amused smirk pushed it’s way across the vampire’s face, oh this was going to be great. While his presence was known to the dog, the two female humans were totally oblivious to his whereabouts, no doubt because of their lack of sophisticated senses- so weak, so vulnerable. Jasper’s handsome face studied each of the beings congregated in a loose circle, or more like a triangle really. He began wondering whether he should find a way to enter their conversation or just continue watching, he would enter. Even though he had fed just yesterday, there was still a chance that something might flick the switch and then he would pounce, but that chance was very small, and he was sure of it. The male stood up straight, now no longer leaning on the tree, and began a slow but steady walk towards the group of people, his eyes flickered from the dog who he now recognized as the alpha of that little pack La Push had back to the two female, who seemed enveloped in their conversation with the mutt. One of them, the blonde, seemed as though the male was all she cared about, not even paying attention to the other female, the one with the camera. Desperate much? He gave the wolf a fake sympathetic look while he hopped up onto one of the picnic tables and took a seat on the table’s surface; his feet perched on the bench. Jasper didn’t speak, he just watched the humans for their reaction to his sudden appearance, and for the werewolves reaction to his closeness to the mortals. The vampire looked down at his feet for a minute as if in thought, but then he looked up to meet the gaze of the three creatures, his golden orbs gazing into each of theirs.
[ooc] Oops. Yeah, you’re right, I kept on thinking that we were in La Push. Silly me. n.n

His eyes glassed over the two girls, acually glad that they were now both in the conversation. It was unusually akward in this situation, although now he seemed that everything was equal. He had leaned back though, his arms folded, muscles sculpted. Hey- you had to keep the look up, no slacking off. He looked to the girl that seemed more interested in him-flirty in a way. Her name. Vanity? Interesting. It was obvious to most that this girl was deffinatly flirting with him. Ugh. If only he had a 'step back, I'm taken' sign on his forehead. Then they'll see. As she asked about something wrong his eyes flickered back to hers, a sly smile crept upon his lips.
"Nope..."
He spoke smoothly, as if he was questioning her sanity or something, but he quickly switched subjects, and at the right momment spoke to both of the two ladies,
"Two new faces- I'm guessing you ladies are realatively new to the area?"
His voice cooling, although his body heated at the sight of the bloodsucker. In any normal accountance he would have attacked this beast right on any La Push territory. Although this territory was free ground, nothing could be done... Unless he decided to have a snack. Not on his time. His brother, Edward, at least thats what Jacob tells him- can run amazingly fast. Although this one... wasn't as talented- but they all seemed to have some weird talent. But he knew this... if this one tried to play something tricky. He'd be sure to have his neck snapped. Shread and burn, baby. Shread and burn.

Rachel turned her head back around toward the boy and girl. "No problem." She said softly as her blue eyes flashed to the boy after he told her thanks. Rachel glanced down for a brief moment and placed her camera into her bag, she wasn't interested in taking pictures anymore at the moment. Instead she was interested in the people who were sitting near her. She figured now would be a good time just as any other to try to make new friends or acquaintances.
Her eyes then moved over to the other girl. "Hey." She said flashing her a smile, surprised that the girl was taking a break from flirting to say hi to her. Rachel couldn't blame her though. Hell, she probably would have been doing that same thing but she just wasn't in the mood to do so. She really hadn't been in the mood since her boyfriend cheated on her, but she was hoping that would all change soon.
"Yes, I'm relatively new... Moved here a few weeks ago. I've finally had time to come here today to check this place out." She answered his question as she stretched her long legs in front of her to get more comfortable. "I'm Rachel, by the way. Nice to meet you both." She introduced herself with a soft smile to Vanity and the boy. Rachel looked at the boy with raised eyebrow. "What happens to be your name?" She asked with a small laugh being that he had yet tell them his name.
Rachel's attention quickly went else where though when she saw a pair feet on the bench. She quickly looked up with a look of confusion and looked at the newcomer who was seating on a picnic table. Wow, people just kept popping out of no where. Rachel's blue eyes looked over the new arrival and then back to boy she had been talking to. She didn't know why, but for some reason she felt like there was some sort of tension between them.

She smiled widely at the boy and girl and absently twisted a strand of auric around her thin finger while watching the two curiously. She turned to Sam, awaiting his answer to Rachel's question before her gaze quickly returned to the girl. "Nice to meet you." she said with a nod and a grin, head straightening. She dropped her finger, hair wisping gently to the side of her head in the slight breeze. She looked towards the male again and nodded once. "Unfortunately. I moved here a few weeks ago. This is my first time being out of Forks, actually." she answered, her tone unnaturally quiet this time. Life in Forks was everything she had imagined it to be. Sucky, crappy, the whole deal. It was her living hell, but she tolerated it as best she could.
She frowned curiously as the boy tensed. She turned her head once again only to almost jump out of her seat. Behind her, on the table was an inhumanly attractive male and she gasped quietly, heart rate slowing to normal. "You scared me," she said with a relieved sigh, hand resting over her heart. She glared into the boy's eyes, her expression softening considerably as a few seconds passed. She turned from the boy to look in front of her, and she blinked, somewhat dazed. She reached her head up to her forehead and rubbed her temple once before regaining her composure. She smiled somewhat hesitantly at Jasper, gaze switching back and forth, from Sam to Jasper. Something was off about the two of them. They seemed to know each other, or else Sam was just very protective over total strangers, but that, she doubted.
She cleared her throat and licked her lips. "So..uh, do you guys live in La Push?" she asked softly, voice faltering at the end. She was uncomfortable, for some strange, unexplainable reason. There was no reason to be, yet, she was. It was a bad small talk starter, but it was all she had, so she was going to use it. She felt that it was her place to make things right. It had always been her job to fix things before, and it was in her nature, along with many other things, to do so. Now, if she knew that two of the people she was with were other species, she probably wouldn't be talking at all. She would most likely be just getting to her car, all shaky and scared, something she never was. It was better that she didn't know what was going on. Sure, Vanity was independent, but I doubt that she would be very good with knowing that she was around a vampire and werewolf. That probably wouldn't sit too well with her unless she knew there was no danger, which there always was.

Hm. Vanity- Rachel... Two new names to memmorize. He didn't decide wether or not to protect them, it was his job. Who else would save this mortals from vicious vampires? He kept it his duty, keeping the Quillete area safe. Oh yea, and also keeping four other young werewolves under control, but that was the easy part of the deal. Him being the oldest out of the bunch, he has of course more control over himself, and oh yea, he's the biggest. Of course he wouldn't rip the boy's appart, but more like teaching them a lesson, in a fang and claw way. But back to the subject. He figured that if any of the two would come into La Push, he would have to keep some record of them. The important thing was that they were new. A clean slate. No suspicion of bloodsucking beings or wolf men, great. He spoke his name smooth, his eye sharp onto Jasper. Yes- he knew they're names. He might as well know them in able to keep the law straight.
"Sam Uley..."
His mouth cuved into an amused look as the girl jumped when Jasper was now behind her. Oh, so you think he's scary now? He now amused by this thought. But he soon became content again, although he couldn't help but to feel edgy about this whole situation. His eyes darted back to Vanity's as she asked the question about were they lived. His eye's traced along the girl for a momment, then mommentarily after he spoke,
"I do."
He retorted back to her, as if almost implying that it was just him. No Cullen was allowed on La Push territory- uless they were calling for a suicide attempt.

The reactions that he got out of the two females amused him greatly, one just looked confused and the other one jumped at his sudden appearance. He grinned at them, his sparkling white teeth glinting in the sunlight; the male hadn’t spoken yet and he didn’t plan on speaking until spoken to, so far, all he had received was a few glances and a glare from the mutt. Jasper heard one of the humans, the blonde, as both him and the werewolf where they were from and he scoffed at the idea of him living at the reservation, amidst all of those dogs, ”I live in Forks.” He supplied, it answered the question and gave a little extra. The male’s orbs scanned each one of their faces and lingered a little longer on the werewolf’s while he thought, something to tick him off, something to amuse Jasper the bored one. He then looked to the two females, they’d sure help with this plot of his, the plot that hadn’t even formed yet, but Jasper sure knew what he wanted out of it- poor doggie fighting with himself, attempting to control the anger. Of course, one thing for sure would push him over the edge, if he bit or almost bit one of the humans, but then again, Jasper didn’t feel like it, and not to mention that would put his family in danger. He flashed his pearly white teeth and stood, weaving between the two mortals to a bench closer to the two, within an arms distance now. The Cullen ignored the dog for now, his attention on the two humans, it was time to do a little acting.
